01 / The brief
Give each neighborhood a place in the story.
Visit Alexandria needed a cohesive collection of photography and video for its neighborhood pages and destination marketing.
The brief brought six areas together: Old Town, Del Ray, Arlandria–Chirilagua, Potomac Yard, Carlyle & Eisenhower, and the West End. The content needed to show the character of each place through its people, food, businesses and public spaces.

02 / Our approach
Start with the people who bring a place to life.
Push the Button led planning and production around a shared visual direction. We coordinated locations and talent, then combined lifestyle photography with moving images of the city.
Plan around real experiences.
Shopping on King Street. A meal with friends. A walk past a neighborhood mural. Each scene gave the destination story something specific to show.
Capture for more than one format.
The production covered neighborhood details and wider scenes, with material intended for website headers, destination films and shorter edits.

03 / The work
One production.
A library of possibilities.
Photography, edited video and supporting footage gave the marketing team material to draw from across its neighborhood storytelling.
Neighborhood photography
Lifestyle scenes, local businesses, food and streetscapes captured with a consistent visual approach.
Video for the destination
An overview film, shorter edits and website-header material shaped around the project brief.
Footage organized by place
Color-corrected clips grouped into neighborhood folders, making it easier to find the right scene for the next story.
04 / The library
Ready for the next website update. And the story after that.
The project brought photography and video together in a neighborhood-specific collection. An organized library gives the team a consistent starting point for website content, social posts and future campaign edits.
