Maryland Drone Photography & Video FAQs
Plan your shoot with a Baltimore-based creative studio.
Push the Button creates drone photography, aerial video and ground-based visual content for real estate, destinations, brands and organizations across Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic. Here are practical answers to help you choose a production partner and plan your project.
Choosing your production partner
Why choose Push the Button for drone photography in Maryland?
We connect aerial perspectives with ground photography, films and short-form edits to build a useful visual library for your team. Founder and creative director Ime Umoh is an FAA Part 107 remote pilot based in Baltimore. Our approach starts with your audience, the story you want to tell and where the finished content will be used. Explore our photo and video portfolio to see whether our work is the right fit for your project.
What areas do you serve?
We are based in Baltimore and serve projects throughout Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic. Share the exact shoot location when you inquire so we can confirm travel, site access and flight feasibility. Travel and location requirements are scoped with your project.
What kinds of clients and projects do you work with?
Projects can include property marketing, construction progress, tourism and hospitality campaigns, economic development, brand stories and nonprofit communications. We help teams create visuals for websites, presentations, social channels and ongoing marketing. See our drone photography and aerial video services for more on the available work.
Pricing, deliverables and timing
How much does drone photography or aerial video cost in Maryland?
Pricing depends on the number of locations, capture time, crew needs, editing, final deliverables, travel and usage rights. A single property shoot and an ongoing content program need different scopes. Tell us your goals, location, target dates and budget range so we can recommend an approach and prepare a project-specific quote.
What photos, videos and files can you deliver?
Your scope can include edited aerial photos, aerial video, ground photography and video, short-form edits, 360-degree panoramas and licensed footage. We agree on image quantities, video lengths, file formats, aspect ratios and editing before production. If you need vertical social clips, a website film or raw files, include those requests when we plan the deliverables.
Can you combine drone footage with ground photography and video?
Yes. We can plan aerial and ground capture together so your project has both a sense of place and details at eye level. This can support property features, destination stories, brand films and a consistent library of content for multiple channels. The agreed scope determines the crew, capture and editing included.
Do you offer recurring construction progress photography?
Yes. We can plan repeat photo and video visits around your project milestones, with consistent viewpoints where site access and flight conditions allow. Dated, organized media can support stakeholder updates, project communications and marketing. Visit our construction progress photography and video page to plan a recurring capture program.
How far ahead should I book, and when will I receive the finished content?
Contact us as soon as you know the location and target dates. Availability, site coordination and flight planning affect the shoot schedule. Editing time depends on the deliverables and review process. We agree on the production dates, review steps and delivery schedule before work begins; mention any firm launch deadline during your inquiry.
Can I use the photos and videos on my website, social media and advertising?
Tell us how you plan to use the content so the quote can specify the appropriate usage rights and formats. Website, organic social, paid advertising, partner sharing and third-party distribution may need different terms. Confirm licensing, any restrictions and any raw-file request in the project agreement before production.
Flight planning and booking
Is your drone pilot FAA Part 107 certified, and what about insurance?
Ime Umoh is an FAA Part 107 remote pilot. During planning, we review the location and the operating requirements for the specific flight. Ask us for current insurance documentation and share any client or site requirements, including certificate-of-insurance needs, before the shoot is confirmed.
Can you fly at my location, and what happens if the weather changes?
Flight feasibility depends on the exact location, airspace, site access, required permissions and safe conditions. Share the address early so we can assess the plan. Weather or operating restrictions may require a different date or capture approach. We discuss a practical contingency and the applicable rescheduling terms when we scope the project.
How do I book, and what information should I have ready?
Start with a discovery call. Bring five things: your project goal and audience; the shoot location and access details; your target dates or deadline; the photos, videos and intended uses you need; and your budget range. We will use that conversation to confirm fit, feasibility, scope and next steps. A discovery call starts the planning process; the shoot is confirmed separately.
